While gifts for the ministry, its workers or any CLC project can be sent to us by cheque, BACS or even given over the counter in any of our shops, you can also give securely online via the charity Stewardship on the give.net website. Plus, you always have the option to GiftAid your donation.

How your gifts, legacies or donations are used:
If you are praying about supporting a CLC person, project or ministry via a one-off or a regular gift and need more information, please contact the National Director in the first instance.
Designated Income
Gift income in cash or kind is used 100% as indicated by the donor, whether for a CLC person, ministry, project or to help cover operating costs. You can be as specific as you like as to how you wish your gift to be used.
Non-Designated Income
Gift income in cash or kind that arrives without a specific use will normally go into the General Fund, though the charity may contact the donor or their agent for clarification/direction. This fund is never supplemented by transfers from the charity's own assets.
Importantly, this fund transfers a tithe of its income to the Supplementary Support Fund, which exists to give limited but sometimes ongoing financial help to fulltime CLCers going through particular hardship.
From the residual balance in the General Fund, a montly allowance of £90 is paid out to the qualifying non-salaried CLCers who desire to receive it. This allowance has a limit so that any excess in the fund can be carried forward. Neither of these two funds is intended or offered as a source of regular income. They are a help, nothing more, as their balance depends totally on third party income.
Nothing is deducted from any cash gift for administrative reasons. Where an asset is given to the charity (eg a house or car), the costs in realising the asset may be deducted from the net income.

If you are wondering as to how best your legacy can be used, please contact us. If its use is not specified, it will be used for the support of our UK team members (i.e. the General Fund, as described above).
