It is good to be relevant to your situation. When CLC Mozambique was asked to supply books to a new Bible College in the growing new town of Matola outside Maputo, the team came up with a unique idea – a bookshop in a filing cabinet!
The new Bible College only has a small library, with many of the second hand books in English. The mini-CLC is in the study area of the library and it means that the students will have access to books and Bibles in their native Portuguese language.
The agreement was concluded recently between the College and CLC, and members of both organisations got together to celebrate the event. To the right of the cabinet you can see Liz Patten (CLC Regional Director for Africa), Abel Chau (CLC Maputo Bookshop Manager) and Pastor Isaias Uaene (Director of the College).
