It is very appropriate to call this magazine CLC World because it is the ongoing story of what the Lord is doing through CLC around the world. In this edition, you will hear reports and testimonies of what is happening in Panama, Portugal, Colombia, Burkina Faso, India, Spain and the Netherlands - without mentioning the prayer requests from all around the world.
I was particularly blessed by the way the Lord spoke to David Pabón in Colombia about how to deal with the threat of job losses during COVID-19 (page 6).
Can we ask you to take seriously the possibility of praying for CLC? Prayer Focus on pages 11–22 gives you a topic for each day. As well as informing yourself of the Lord’s work in many different places, you can support the work in prayer. We know how to distribute books - we have been doing it for 80 years - but the spiritual impact can only take place with the Lord’s intervention. And He wants us to collaborate with Him through prayer in this endeavour!
Although the project is not specifically mentioned in any of the articles, the work of supplying free books for displaced Ukrainians continues at great speed. The number of Ukrainian books printed especially for this project is approaching half a million. We have never known anything on this scale, and we thank the Lord for the opportunity to be involved.
