2018 CLC World Issue 2

Welcome to CLC World! This free mission magazine enables us to share with you, our faithful supporters, current news, testimonies, as well as prayer and praise points, illustrating how we are daily impacting thousands of lives in nearly 50 countries.

Each year, I like to use ‘Issue 2’ as an opportunity to focus on discipleship and training. One main reason for this is that there are a lot of special occassions during this quarter. Finding the right gift (a book, of course!) to encourage, educate and edify the lives of our youth, family and friends is then especially important.

Along with the amazing selection of youth resources featured, we have also chosen to centre our focus on being totally surrendered to God. When we live a life surrendered to God, He takes the ordinary and makes extraordinary things happen. Just look at the life of Billy Graham, a humble man with many health issues, who committed his life to pointing people to Jesus.

Billy Graham once shared, “Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.” Therefore, there is no better time than now to train and learn how to be fully submitted to God’s will in our lives. Whether you are a child, an adult or somewhere in between, when we learn, love and live the Word of God and combine all this with an active prayer life and a grateful heart, God is able to use us in ways beyond anything we could ever imagine.
