Faith. What do you put your trust in? What do you believe in? What is faith?

The writer to the Hebrews tells us: ‘Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.’ (Hebrews 11:1)

500 years ago in 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the Castle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany, kick-starting what has become known as The Reformation. To celebrate this reliance on faith alone, we feature a selection of books (p.6-7) to help you get a grip on the events and characters of this important era of church history.

 

In this edition of Take Note we look at the issue of faith and how this affects how we live. From how we share and defend our faith (p.3 & 8) to how to live by faith day-by-day (p.9), there are some excellent resources here to help us. We also include some stories of faith to help us learn lessons from others (p.5), and a couple of faith-building music CDs (p.11) – all to assist us in our own walk of faith.
