Journaling workshop at Bridge Books, Exeter

On November 4th Rachel Povey led a Bible Journaling workshop for Bridge Books in Exeter. Mary and Gary Lee, of Bridge Books, hired a room in the church next door and set up a lovely bookstall. Rachel was able to introduce 22 people to Bible journaling, and explain the various Bibles, journals and resources that are available in the shop. She then gave some simple but effective paint technique demos using baby wipes and swipe cards, perfect for those who aren’t hugely arty or creative. Then the fun began and they studied a scripture together using a short devotional. The main goal was to get across that there is no need to be arty. There are so many resources and journaling Bibles out there to help, and that the main point of Bible journaling is not to come out with a master piece or spend a fortune on supplies, but

The very much about spending time with God and soaking in His Word.

If retailers have any questions about Bible journaling or would like to know more about how they can assist or inspire their customers they are very welcome to email Rachel at  [email protected], or find her resources and products on the website, www.godatmyhouse.com
