A young woman, I guess in her early 30s, visited our shop in February last year and as she came to the till to pay for her purchases she happened to remark that she became a Christian through the shop! I of course asked her how. She said that 12 years previously, as a student at a nearby college, she had come into Canaan and bought a CD by Audio Adrenaline. Going on to say that through listening to the CD she became a Christian adding that she had not originally intended to come into the shop as she was into body piercing and heavy metal music and not a Christian! Since that time she has gone on in her faith and is now attending a church in London where she said her tastes in Christian music are now more conservative. This was her first visit back to the area.
This is just one of those encouraging stories that we very occasionally get to hear. How many other customers who visit our shops have a story to tell that we may never hear?
