The Commercial Director is a key member of the Senior Management Team and will help to lead, shape and grow the work of the charity. The overall purpose of the role is to maintain, develop and implement commercial strategies according to the charity’s goals and objectives, and to preserve a consistent path of growth through an ever changing market.
The Commercial Director will be responsible for responding to technological developments in the book world, while understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are met.
The post holder should have strong leadership and motivational skills along with commercial awareness and relevant experience to be able to develop existing strategies, and generate fresh and innovative ideas to the benefit of the charity.
